Features Of The Tcl Plugin 2.0 Release

The following features are included in the Tcl plugin 2.0 final release:

• Safe Tcl.
• Safe Tk.
• Embedding of Tk inside Xt and Motif applications on Unix, and inside other windowed applications on Windows and Macs.
• Security policy mechanism and several interesting policies.
• Communication with the hosting browser.
• Supported platforms: Solaris 2.4 and later on SPARC and Intel X86, Windows 95, Windows NT 3.51 and 4.0, MacOS on PPC, Linux, HP-UX 9.* and 10.*, SGI IRIX 5.3 and later, Digital Unix (OSF1).
